Intex filter balls, the new filter medium for sand filter pumps. Practical and lightweight, because 500 grams of filter balls equals 18 kg of filter sand! Easy to clean via a backwash on the filter pump or with a simple hand wash. By replacing 10 to 20% annually, the filter balls will also last for years. Swimming pool water flows more easily through the filter balls than through a sand bed, which minimizes the pressure loss of the pump and therefore saves energy. Made of polyester (PET), non-toxic and 100% recyclable.

Maintenance: With normal use of the filter pump, it is recommended to check the Intex filter balls weekly and clean them if necessary. Do not use a washing machine. Clean filter balls via backwash of filter pump or hand wash (max. 30 degree C, without soap or detergent). If filter balls remain dirty or discoloured, they should be replaced.
